2016 Chevrolet Silverado Adds Hunting-Inspired Realtree Edition

Inspired by the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Bone Collector concept that debuted last year at SEMA, the new, production-ready 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Edition brings in hunting influences that made the Bone Collector concept stand out.
We do wish Chevy had incorporated more elements from the cool Bone Collector concept shown at SEMA (pictured in the gallery below), which added substantial upgrades including a big brake kit, aggressive off-road tires, a front push-bar, and a bed-mounted sport bar. Instead of these upgrades, the special-edition Silverado headed for production mostly focuses on visual flair.

Checking the box for the Realtree Edition primarily gets the buyer a set of Realtree graphics, including exterior camouflage graphics on the hood, the front doors, and the tailgate. Inside, the Realtree logo is embroidered into the front headrests, and a few other interior trim bits wear camouflage graphics to mirror the exterior look. Certain exterior trim pieces like the Chevy bowtie badges, off-road assist steps, and 20-inch wheels all also finished in black.
The new special edition is available on 2016 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 crew cab trucks, meaning that the truck at least offers the Z71 package’s off-road upgrades to back up its appearance.
The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Edition goes on sale this spring.
